Orthodontics with minimal tooth extraction

In orthodontics of years past it was very common to extract permanent teeth. The old braces were best at contracting the dental arches with tooth extraction. Now ligatureless
friction free braces allow us to treat with very light force and develop the dental arch without
protruding the anterior teeth. As a result, permanent tooth extraction is not needed as much as years before. The main reasons for
